Restore and Renew: Offers poses that support the body with bolsters and props so that the mind and body have the space to find a deep relaxation. All on the floor, supported for a longer release, and for yogis of all levels. Especially great for those recovering from injuries or with limited ability to stand for longer periods, and for those seeking space to release inward.
Gentle Yoga/Mindful Flow: A gentle flow joins breath with movement with more resting poses in between. Once the body is warmed we move into deeper poses to open the shoulders, hips and hamstrings. We adjust to all body types with the use of props such as blocks, bolsters and straps. Finding strength and mobility within the poses, this slow flow class gives the student the time to explore and discover the true medicine of yoga.
Hatha Flow: Medium paced, moderately physically demanding class. Focus on integrating mind and body through breath practices and standing poses based around Sun Salutations, balance poses, inversions, and cool down stretches with a deep relaxation at the end.
Yin Moon: Longer held poses on the floor are meant to allow time for deeper access into all the layers surrounding your joints and bones. We use props liberally in this class including the wall and incorporate (pranic) breath practices.
Karma Yoga: An all level fun class to brighten your Saturday. Modifications will be given to all poses so that every level of yogi can participate. Be aware: you may find lightness and laughter in this class! Class is a gift to students. Donations for the teacher are accepted.
